セイラーボブはますます元気で毎週日曜日に生中継を続けています。メルボルンは依然としてロックダウン中なので、無観客ミーティングです。

これって、よくよく考えると、すごいことなのではないかと思います。

私がボブを訪ねた2013年当時は生中継はやっておらず、ネット上には数本のボブのミーティング動画があるだけでした。ボブが何を言っているのかよくわからず、わざわざオーストラリアまで訪ねていったわけですが、今は毎週生中継されています。

生中継を見ている人は、毎回世界中で20人から50人程度です。ヨーロッパが夜中で北米が夜遅いという時差を考えても、それほどたくさんの人が見ているわけではありません。

その日の夕方アップロードされるYouTubeはというと、200回から300回程度の再生回数です。非二元という教えがいかにマイナーか。もしくは、非二元の話は一度理解すれば十分だと思っている人がいかに多いか。それとも、「いや、エンライトメントはある！」と言って去る人が多いのか。単にボブに人気がないのか。

セイラーボブは無料で生中継してくれて、しかも 質問にも答えてくれる（Facebook 経由で）。なんと気前のいいことか。月々3000円も払わないと動画も見られないどこかの金儲け教師とは雲泥の差。

教師、グルが本物かどうかは、ありもしないものをあるように見せかけて神聖ビジネスをやっているかどうかだと思います。今どきはその類の人がネット上にあふれていて、セラピーだのリトリートだのといって、万単位のお金を取ってビジネスにしている人がたくさんいます。

誰かのセラピーやリトリートがあなたを解放することなどありえません。もともと開放されるべき人などいないのですから。自分の頭で考えて、自分で理解しないと何の解決にもなりません。ひどいものになると、遠隔なんたらと称して……。

私は時々本屋で、セイラーボブ、ニサルガダッタ・マハラジ系統以外の非二元の人の本もチラっと手にしてみるのですが、やっぱりボブのほうがわかりやすいと思います。

ボ～ッとしていると、日々の生活に流されて、ついつい見せかけの世界に捕らわれてしまいがちです。

毎週とは言いませんが、ボブが話続ける間はずっとフォローしていこうと思っています。また、このブログで可能なかぎり有益な非二元の情報、言葉を提供していきたいと思います。

It is only your self-identification with your mind that makes you happy or unhappy. Rebel against your slavery to your mind, see your bonds as self-created and break the chains of attachment and revulsion. Keep in mind your goal of freedom, until it dawns on you that you are already free, that freedom is not something in the distant future to be earned with painful efforts, but perennially one's own, to be used! Liberation is not an acquisition but a matter of courage, the courage to believe that you are free already and to act on it.
